Our objective is to turn results from science and research into products that are ready for market. Research vs. Trial and Error: OEC company founder, Professor Harald Ries, developed the unique technology of 2D and 3D optical tailoring. This permits complex mirrors or lenses to be calculated within a practical development timeframe.
Calculation pays off: Experience shows that this approach also pays off in terms of cost efficiencies. For contrary to the common approach we don’t carry out extensive testing with lenses and reflectors until we achieve the desired effect. Instead we calculate everything form scratch. Overall, this saves a great deal of time and a lot of expensive testing with prototypes.
